To pass my gate, you must leave it all. All that you clothe yourself in, all that you hold dear, leave it here. Remove the last of your garments. Remove your shoes. Let nothing stand between you and the earth. Let nothing conceal you.
Look closely at what you claim grounds you. Look closely at what you claim you need for security. Leave it. To pass my gate, you must leave all that you have clung to for support. Are you still willing to be laid bare? Come. Leave all that is not you at my gate.
