Venus Speaks

I step gingerly upon the ground. My legs quiver like a new born lamb. Each breath tastes delicious as I inhale across my tongue. There is a warmth, a freshness, a crisp light calling me forward. My toes dig deeply into the warm earth, stabilizing me. The air caresses me, tingles across my skin, sending shivers down my spine. Warmth and light and breath encircle me, drawing me forward. My step grows firmer.

All was stripped away, all that I held in front of me to define myself, to get the attention and adoration I needed, the security I needed. I have seen myself in the dark. When all is stripped away, I see Me. Just Me. Glorious Me. I shiver again as pleasure courses down my body.

As I emerge from the dark, tenderly, slowly, deliciously, I relax back into the deep trust of cycling down and in and up and out. I am more myself than ever before. I don't know this radiance yet, but I see it emerging from the dark.
