Look at me. Love me. Look at all that I have accomplished. Look at all that I have gained. Do you admire me? You should.
I have worked hard for this luxury. I have fought my way to the top. I deserve to be here.
I am the reason why those around me are thriving. I know this. I support them, encourage them, lead them. I do what needs to be done. I rule well.
Look at me, but see what I show you.
I have worked hard. I rule well. I have all that I need. And yet.
And yet.
There is an itch in my chest, a place I cannot reach. There is a longing, a whisper, a remembrance that I cannot bring to mind.
The itch grows, the whisper roars. It is time. It is time to seek anew.
I do not know what I will find, but it is time.
Leo investigates the mysteries of Radical, Radiant Self-Love and Self-Confidence. This is the kind of self-love that happens when a person truly knows they are a divine being and their greatest gift to humanity is to show up and shine as creator. This training includes the dissolution of self-hatred making way for the activation of beginners mind, courageous will, bold confidence, inventive imagination, and creative play.
Genuine self-love does not require love from others or the good opinion of others. It does not depend on what others think or do. Defining self-love is not how we feel when we have had “a good week”. Self-love occurs when we internally, lovingly accept who we are at all times and have moved beyond the need to say or do anything that causes harm to ourselves or others.
