The Gatekeeper Speaks
My dear, vibrant beauty. Bold one, brave one, you who are willing to go deeper, farther, diving into the unknown, the scary, you who are willing to be messy and raw. You draw closer and closer to the lip of the Underworld. You are raw. You are peeled back. You are seeing your patterns and owning Truth. You are activating the ancient lineages, opening to remove all barriers to embodying your passionate purpose. But you are not there yet. You have had to slow, to wait, to sit in the not knowing, not acting, the waiting, open and raw.
You have descended through the sky of your own body, down from your crown now all the way to your root. Can you sit at the root of the root of your experience? How intimately can you lean in, stay? How deeply can you engage without being taken away by your history, by your reactivity? How willing are you to be vibrated, to be impacted by experience, to let it move you without being subsumed into it? Not caught in the stories, not caught in defending against, not caught in trying to prove, simply being resonated by the pure tone of experience. Are you willing to embrace experience as your lover, staying, moving closer, until all that remains is an explosion of pure, unadulterated energy?
You will know you are intimate with your experience when you taste the electric aliveness in your soul, when you feel the deep nourishment of being within your cells. When you feel sated, needing nothing, full and replete, then you will know you have been intimate with your experience. When you lay loose limbed and flushed with a rosy glow, you will know you have been intimate with your experience.

White Essence
The Quality of Isness
When we allow ourselves to fully experience our wanting, and we trust that the wanting itself has the intelligence to reveal the pure energy of desire that underlies it, we get a taste of what it’s like to feel love and desire as a unified force. We experience both the feeling of love and the power that is in it.
We don’t try to change either our feelings or ourselves; instead, we let the energy change us. Not acting out an emotion will eventually lead to the pure energy within it. And understanding the charge that we carry about the feeling will allow the energy to be cleansed of the fixed content of the charged emotion from the past, leaving it pure and clean, simply itself.

How do you deny your need for nourishment? How do you resist receiving nourishment from being intimate with your experience?
What frightens you about being needy? How do you defend against feeling helpless?
What keeps you from letting an experience be what it is? What is it like to notice your experience instead of changing it?
What is your own unique lens through which to explore this Essence of White, the quality of isness, of Venus in Aries? With whom do you journey this cycle?
Ritual Space
Take some time to drop into ritual space as you receive the initiation of this gate. We step into liminal space, time out of time, in ritual space. We connect with the lineage of those who have watched the stars for millennia, receiving the gift of Venus's journey, aligning ourselves with the cycles that are already unfolding. We remember our nature as beings who cycle, change, transform. We remember how to receive knowing directly, rather than needing others to tell us what is so.
You may wish to create an altar, light a candle, and anoint yourself with oils. Sit with this gate, the quality of Essence that is being called forward. As you deepen in surrendering to receiving initiation, ask who would come to guide you in your journey with this quality of Essence? What of yourself do you offer in return? What is calling to be set down at this gate? What pattern, belief, way of being in this world, is challenged by this quality of Essence? What are you ready to release in order to deepen more fully in this journey?
What gift is revealed in the releasing of this pattern, belief, or way of being? What has more freedom to be itself in this release? You may see this directly, or may need to live with this initiation throughout the whole cycle and come back and answer this question before entering into the next gate. You may wish to draw cards to receive guidance in this way.
As you complete your experience in ritual space, take time to offer thanks and adoration to the archetype, to Venus, to your personal guide that arose for this journey, to your ancestors and lineage. Offer thanks to the land that holds and nourishes and grounds you. In the giving and receiving we remember our deep connectedness to all beings everywhere, throughout time and space.
